Antique Yomut or Yomud Turkmen Ensi rug, wool on wool. Central dark rust field with four windows flanked by three borders. Each end with wide borders having chevron designs. Woven in rust, red, blue, salmon, and cream colors. 64 in x 54 in. Late 19th/Early 20th century.
PROVENANCE: Private Des Moines, Iowa collection.
CONDITION: Overall good condition. One end with pile wear and old repair. A couple of old repairs to the central border to one end. Losses to the fringe at each end.
