Antique Yomud or Yomut Turkmen Ensi rug, wool on wool. Traditional design including four central panels having a bird''s head pattern, and lower elem panel with archaic eagle design. Woven in red, rust, black, and cream colors. 5 ft 1 in x 4 ft 0 in. Late 19th century.
PROVENANCE: Private Des Moines, Iowa collection.
CONDITION: Minor wear to right margin, losses to each lower corner, overall good condition with light even wear.
