Antique Turkmen Tekke Ensi rug, wool on wool construction with bird head design. Four central windows or panels with bird head designs and wide lower elem panel with diagonal tree design. Woven in dark rust, salmon, blue, and cream colors. 4 ft 8 in x 4 ft 2 in. Circa 1880''s.
PROVENANCE: Private Des Moines, Iowa collection.
CONDITION: Overall very good condition. Homemade denim hangers attached to top verso. Wear to the fringe at each end.
