Two US Mint 1995 Civil War Battlefield Commemorative coin sets, housed in reproduction "Union" cases inset with replica $10 gold coins. Sets consist of one (1) $5 gold coin designed by Don Troiani and Alfred Maletsky depicting a Civil War bugler on horseback obverse and eagle with banner reverse and one (1) silver $1 designed by Don Troiani and John Mercanti depicting a Civil War soldier helping a wounded foe obverse and a quote by Joshua Chamberlain reverse. The $5 coin is 90% gold, measures 21.59 mm, and weighs 8.359 grams. The silver $1 90% silver, measures 38.10 mm and weighs .859 troy ounces. Both sets retain the original box and COA.
