Seven (7) wooden boxes. Includes one (1) rectangular burlwood box with parquetry inlaid banding and marbled paper lining; one (1) brass-mounted mahogany box with hook latches and hinged lid; one (1) Asian box with rounded corners and allover foliate/floral carving; two (2) oblong snuff boxes in burlwood and birdseye maple, each with hinged lids; one (1) burlwood square box with hinged lid; and one (1) circular box with a possibly later lid, each piece carved with concentric circles, screw holes to undersides. Ranging in size from 1 1/4" H x 4" dia. to 8" H x 11" W x 5" D. Ranging in age from mid 19th to mid 20th century.
PROVENANCE: The Estate of Richard J. Eskind, Nashville.
CONDITION: Overall good condition. Shrinkage to veneers of parquetry box. Square burlwood box lid does not sit flush with body. Scattered light wear, scuffs or scratches to exteriors.
