Antique Tekke Turkmen Chuval with silk and cotton highlights. Central dark red or rust field with three rows of four guls and stylized flowers, wide lower stylized flower ensi border. Woven in rust or dark red, blue, black, gold, brown, and cream colors. 76 in x 39 in. Circa 1880''s.
PROVENANCE: Private Des Moines, Iowa collection.
CONDITION: Overall very good condition with even pile wear. Approx. 2" vertical tear to border and one old border repair to far right. Homemade denim hangers a top verso.
