Item 1: Masted barque sailing ship with flag in an Imperial quart glass bottle, fitted with a wooden display stand. 9 3/4 in. L x 5 3/4 in. H (on stand). Item 2: Small wooden table top music box with disc “What Til I Do?” Remnants of a dog lithograph on a paper label on the top of the lid. Operational at the time of inspection. 9 3/4 in. L x 5 1/2 in H x 7 in D. Disc is 3 1/2 in. Item 3: Wooden caddy in rectangular form with inlaid mother-of-pearl escutcheon and key. Interior with velvet-lined storage and lidded compartments, plus a horn teaspoon. 9 1/2 in L x 5 3/4 in W x 5 3/4 in D. Item 4: Sarcophagus form tea caddy with light wood inlay, patinated brass basket ring pull, bone escutcheon, and bun feet. Interior paper-lined under lid, and 2 storage containers with bone pulls. 7 3/4 in L x 5 1/2 H x 4 1/2 in D. All Late 19th/Early 20th Century.
PROVENANCE: Private Knoxville Collection.
CONDITION: Item 1: Old tape repair to the bottle neck and shoulder. Item 2: Scratches to the surface of the case and missing most of the paper label on top of the lid. Item 3: Scratches to the exterior, the key does not turn the lock. Interior missing mixing bowl. Item 4: Overall good condition. The right interior lid bone pull is loose.
