Asian hammered bronze gong mounted onto a hardwood stand in the Biedermeier style together with a leather covered gong beater. Gong with with incised Asian lettering en verso. Gong measure 16 1/2" dia. Stand measures 39 3/4" H x 21 3/4" W. Mid to late 19th century. Provenance: Private Nashville, TN collection. CONDITION: Gong overall good condition. Stand with general use wear and some fading.
