George III mahogany chest of drawers, possibly Scottish, with oak secondary; the case having two dovetailed drawers over three graduated dovetailed drawers, the corners adorned with clustered-columns, terminating in a plinth adorned with thistle-like floral inlay, resting on ogee bracket feet. All drawers with cockbeading. 42 5/8"H x 47 7/8"W x 21 1/2"D. Provenance: Mary Beth Cranwell Montgomery Estate, Knoxville, TN. Condition: Staining to top. Repairs to feet. Wears and some losses to cockbeading around drawers. Overall general wear.
