18th c. painted Italian pier or console table, serpentine over a deep skirt with applied gilded molding and rosettes, supported on 2 turned and tapered fluted legs with gilded recesses (made without rear legs). Hinged top opens to reveal a storage well. 34″H x 31″W x 16-1/2″D. Condition: Considerable wear with some repaint, top possibly replaced. Scattered shrinkage and abrasions, back left side with wood loss/repairs.. Feet possibly shortened or missing caps.
