Lot 278: 4 Carved Spanish Colonial Santos Figures, incl. Christ

Four (4) carved Spanish Colonial Santos figures, including a female with closed eyes and downturned head, a male, a smaller male figure in liturgical robes and mounted onto a base, and the Corpus of Christ removed from a cross. All with some traces of polychrome paint. Ranging in size from 5 3/4 in. H x 2 3/4 in. W to 13 1/2 in. H x 5 1/2 in. W. All 19th century.

CONDITION: All figures with loss of arms and/or hands. The larger figures and the Christ figure have significant losses to the original paint decoration.
