Item 1: French champleve onyx and bronze crucifix with holy water font. Turquoise cloisonne cross with floral designs around “IHS,” on red enamel. Holy water font is turquoise cloissonne with white enamel inside the basin. Metal hanging loop verso. 7 1/2 in. L x 4 1/4 in. W. Circa first quarter 20th century. Item 2: French cloisonne, Dore bronze, and colorful enamel on a crystal powder box with an etched lid. Stamped “Made in France.” Approximate dimensions: 4 1/2 in. H x 3 3/4 in Dia. C. First quarter 20th century.
PROVENANCE: The Estate of Mary Rose McCabe, Winnetka, Illinois; jar acquired from the Shaw-Peterkin family of Glanworth Gardens, Lake Geneva, Wisconsin. .
CONDITION: Overall very good condition. Item 1 minor loss to upper right corner along with fleabite losses to edges and circular spot of adhesive residue to lower left of cross.
