Colonial Revival patriotic quilt, hand appliqued and hand quilted from a Paragon Kit (pattern #01147), featuring an American eagle in oval shield to center, encircled by chains of solid turkey red flowers with cheddar yellow calico centers. Green Calico border. Exceptional double faced binding with mitered corners. Not embroidered. 95 in. x 78 in. American, circa 1950-1976.
PROVENANCE: Private West Tennessee collection.
CONDITION: Overall very good condition, never washed. A couple of areas of broken threads. A few tiny scattered stains to top and a few more light, minor stains to back.
