Southern walnut blanket chest with poplar secondary. Rectangular top, breadboard ends with a molded edge, interior with an open till, oval brass escutcheon, turned Sheraton legs with ball and spike feet. 36 1/2 in. W x 17 3/8 in. D x 28 in. H. Possibly Alabama, circa 1830.
PROVENANCE: Living Estate of Paula Brown.
CONDITION: Older refinished surface. Hinges have been moved and replaced. Lock missing.
