Southern cherry work table, poplar secondary. Rectangular three board top above a single dovetailed drawer having two turned knobs supported by ring-turned, tapered legs terminating in half-round turnings. 30 in. H x 31 1/2 in. W. x 22 in. D. Possibly Alabama, circa 1835.
PROVENANCE: Living Estate of Paula Brown.
CONDITION: Older refinish. Drawer bottom has been flipped with drawer sides slightly built up. Back left foot with old loss to back circular edge and the same leg with old wood fill covering a knot area. Lock missing.
