Possibly Cain pottery of Sullivan Co., TN. Featured in the “Legacy in Clay: The Pottery of Washington County, Jul 22-Nov 20, 2005″ exhibition catalog and exhibited at the William King Regional Arts Center, Abingdon, Virginia. 4 1/4” H. Third quarter of the 19th century. CONDITION: Some chipping to the rim, scattered glaze exfoliation to rim, handles and body.
