From Maitres de L’Affiche, printed by Imprimerie Chaix, Paris, 1899. Matted under glass in a giltwood frame with carved corners. Sight: 9 in. H x 11 1/2 in. W. Frame: 19 1/2 in. H x 22 in. W. Note: “Les Maitres de l’Affiche” series was offered as a subscription series to collectors during the late 19th century. Every month from December 1895 through November 1900, subscribers were mailed 4 loose sheets (maitres) with a cover sheet.
PROVENANCE: The estate of Robert Estrin, Nashville, TN.
CONDITION: Overall very good condition, with good colors, light toning, tiny spot of foxing lower right margin. A few minor chips to frame edges. Not examined out of frame.
