1st item: Auguste Francois Gorguet (French, 1862-1927), Art Nouveau lithograph in colors on wove paper, poster for the Jules Massenet opera “Esclarmonde.” Printed initials AFG lower right in the plate and date 1889. Housed under glass in a later foliate molded silver-gilt frame. Sight: 30 in. H x 22 1/2 in. W. Frame: 33 in. H x 26 in. W. 2nd item: Maurice Desvallieres, (French, 1851-1950) lithograph in colors on wove paper with gilt highlights, “The Amphora Bearer,” printed 1898 for “L’Estampe Moderne,” with blindstamp of woman’s profile lower right margin. Matted and framed under glass in a molded and stained wood frame. Sight: 15 1/2 in H x 10 1/2 in. W. Frame: 20 in. H x 17 in. W.
PROVENANCE: The estate of Robert Estrin, Nashville, TN.
CONDITION: Both items in excellent condition. Faint toning to Gorguet poster.
