East Tennessee stoneware jar by William Grindstaff, stamped “Knoxville, TN” on the shoulder of the jar. This half cresent mark is a known Grindstaff mark. Overall very good condition with one old, shallow rim chip. 7 5/8″ H. Late 19th century.
