Lot 598: Mason Oversized Back Bay Red Head Drake Decoy
Over-sized Back Bay Redhead Drake decoy by the Mason Factory, with distinctive golden eyes. The underside is stamped with the ‘Mackey Collection’ mark. 7 1/2 in. H x 18 in. L. Late 19th century. CONDITION: Overall very good condition. Repainted by Maurice Waterman of Knotts Island, VA, around 1915. Minor paint loss, primarily to the tail.
