Pair of Japanese pigeon blood ginbari cloisonne enamel ovoid vases, the tapering sides decorated on front with peony blossoms in colored enamels on a translucent ruby red ground with the opaque enamel flowers partially obscuring the granulatedground. Sparrow-and-bamboo design on reverse sides. Excellent condition. 7 1/4"H. 20th century.

Pair of Chinese Export porcelain garniture or baluster vases, with hand painted landscape vignettes, gilt decoration and dome lids with foo dog finials.
