Rare Maysville, Kentucky stoneware churn, stamped “J & E Wood” “5” in cobalt, “Maysville, KY” in blue. Cobalt highlights on handles. Hairline crack to rim, extends into the inside of the jar below handle. Chip to edge of one handle. 17″ H x 8-3/4″ D. Late 19th century.
