Italian School oil on canvas painting depicting plums, apple and melon on a tabletop and set against a dark background. Signed “F. Bertini” lower right. Early to mid 20th century. Housed in an antique Rococo style carved composition and giltwood frame with name plaque at center. Sight: 7 1/2 in H x 9 1/2 in W. Frame 16 in H x 18 in W.
PROVENANCE: Private Nashville, TN collection.
CONDITION: Painting in overall good condition with craquelure and a few possible food spatters lower left. Frame is older than the painting and exhibits a few losses including a 2″ loss at left side sight edge, and repairs including a reattached scroll upper right corner.
