Three (3) Meissen porcelain hand-painted polychrome items with gilt accents 1st-2nd items: Two (2) beaker form vases decorated with insects and birds perched upon flowering branches. 9 1/2" H x 4 3/4" dia. and 9 3/4" H x 4 3/4" dia. 3rd item: Oval serving platter with scalloped edges, basket weave molding, bird perched upon flowering branch to center, and insects to rim. 10 1/2" H x 21 5/8" W. All items with blue Meissen crossed swords mark and impressed numbering to underside; one vase with illegible inscribed signature to underside. All items German, 20th century.
PROVENANCE: Estate of Mark Jackson Smith Jr., Nashville, TN, by descent from his father, Mark Jackson Smith, Sr.
CONDITION: Vases in overall very good condition with minute scattered wear to parcel gilt. Serving platter in overall very good condition with minute scattered wear to glaze.
