Persian Joshaghan rug or carpet, wool on cotton. Central floral design with allover branched geometric and foliate designs, all on a dark red field with three primary borders. Woven in red, blue, cream, green, gold, and salmon colors. 4'' 11" x 3'' 7". Mid 20th century.
PROVENANCE: Private Des Moines, Iowa collection.
CONDITION: Overall very good condition with slight wear to the margins and losses to fringe on one end.
