Three (3) Kentucky regional oil paintings, including Joseph Krementz and David Bettison. 1st item: Joseph Krementz (New Albany, Indiana and Louisville, Kentucky, 1840-1928) oil on board painting depicting several haystacks illuminated by the late afternoon sun. Signed "Jo Krementz" lower left. Housed in a giltwood frame. Sight – 6 1/8" H x 8 3/8" W. Framed – 10 1/8" H x 12 3/8" W. Late 19th/early 20th century. 2nd-3rd items: Two (2) oil on canvas paintings by David Bettison (Kentucky/Louisiana, 19th/20th century), including one (1) maritime painting depicting a ship sailing a calm sea before a setting sun, and one (1) landscape painting depicting a nighttime scene of a forest and a small waterfall. Both signed "Bettison" lower left and right. Both housed in molded giltwood frames. Sights range in size from 6 5/8" H x 9 5/8" W to 8 1/2" H x 9 1/8" W. Both items, late 19th/early 20th century. Provenance: The estate of Dr. Sara Parks Pendleton, Owensboro, KY. CONDITION: 1st item: Overall good condition with surface grime, darkened varnish. Rubbing to edges of board.
