Karl Mullin (Irish, b. 1954) mixed media on paper painting depicting a primitive figure raising a hand, set against a blue background. Signed "K" lower right. Housed under glass in a distressed wood frame with gilt sight edge. Sight – 30"H x 22"W. Frame – 35"H x 27"W. Note: Karl Mullin was born in Ireland and now resides in the U.S., where he creates art using various non-traditional materials. His work is in the permanent collections of The Polk Museum, The Hurn Museum and Robert Morris College. His work was also showcased in the PBS syndicated TV series Rare Visions & Roadside Revelations.
PROVENANCE: A Nashville, Tennessee collection of Outsider Art.
CONDITION: Some faint creasing, otherwise excellent condition. Not examined out of frame.
