Eric Fischl (New York, b. 1948) color lithograph, “Move,” 2001. Two nude, figures rendered in mottled purple hues, one shown from behind and one faceless and shown in profile, stand before an orange, yellow, and purple background. The figure at left shifts their weight to suggest motion. Signed, dated, and numbered 3/32 in pencil, lower right and left. Floated under plexiglass in a modern wood frame with white mat. Sheet: 42 3/4 in. H x 30 3/4 in. W. Frame: 52 1/2 in. H x 41 in. W.
PROVENANCE: The estates of Walter and Dr. Mary Schatz, Nashville.
CONDITION: Excellent condition, with strong colors. Not examined out of frame.
