A grouping of eight (8) Greco-Roman artifacts including: one (1) earthenware Kylix or drinking vessel with black slip and palette decoration to the center of the bowl; one (1) earthenware molded female head mounted onto a wood pedestal; one (1) earthenware tazza; one (1) earthenware low bowl with molded edge and black slip; one (1) earthenware sculpture fragment of a head wearing an elaborate headdress mounted onto a lucite base; one (1) earthenware vase with squared handle, incised body and black geometric slip decoration; one (1) earthenware padlock lamp with molded horse decoration and (1) glass vessel in the form of a vase. Lot also includes 3 miscellaneous bronze items. Ranging in size from 2 1/2" H x 5" dia. to 2 1/8" H x 9 3/4" dia.
PROVENANCE: By oral history, some items were excavated in Sardinia.
CONDITION: All pieces having various losses consistent with excavation including chips, breaks, repaired breaks and wear.
