Lot 969: 3 Daniel Phill Acrylic Botanical Paintings

Three (3) Daniel Phill (Washington/California, b. 1955) acrylic on paper gestural flower paintings, each with passages of impasto and rendered with vivid colors. Titled “Veld,” “Loco,” and “Snowdrop,” the latter also dated 2003, to labels affixed to backings. Each signed in pencil, lower corners. Each floated under acrylic in ebonized wood frames with cream mats. Each sheet: 22 1/2 in H x 22 1/2 in W. Each frame: 30 in H x 30 in W.

CONDITION: All items in overall very good condition, with pinholes to upper corners of “Veld” and “Loco.” Frames with minor-to-moderate abrasions, losses, and accretions, especially “Veld.”
