Full stock .40 caliber percussion rifle marked on the octagonal barrel, "R P BRUFF NY" for Richard P. Bruff active New York, 1858 – 1878. Brass hardware and patch box, double-set triggers. Metal star inlaid on the left side of the stock. Overall 53 1/4" L; Barrel 36 3/4" L.
CONDITION: Ramrod absent; patchbox is likely old replacement; some screws replaced. A few cracks in stock along sides and at muzzle end. Scratches and dings consistent with age and use. Hammer does not set.
