1st item: Victorian George Betjemann & Sons Ladies toiletry set, housed in a hinged burlwood veneer box, with patented George Betjemann & Sons hinge. Box fitted with 10 various sized cut glass containers having engraved silverplated lids, all monogrammed, with lower pull out storage drawer. Interior lock marked "G. Betjemann & Sons, London". Lower drawer and interior top lined in purple velvet. 8"H x 12 1/4"D x 9"W. Circa 1870s. 2nd item: English rosewood travel lap desk with leather-lined fold-out top. Mother of pearl inlay to top; lock with brass folding carrying handles. 6"H x 10"D x 16 1/8"W. Circa 1860s to 1870s. Condition: 1st item: One rectangular cut glass container with chipping to rim (not evident when lid is on). Otherwise, overall very good condition. 2nd item: Overall very good condition with general wear.
