Exterior with inlaid vine scrollwork and side drop brass pulls. 8"H x 13"W x 6 5/8"D. late 19th century. 2nd item: English hinged rosewood sewing box with green satin fitted interior tray. Exterior with domed lid and inset brass handle. 5 3/4"H x 12"W x 9"D. late 19th century. Provenance: Mary Beth Cranwell Montgomery Estate, Knoxville, TN. Condition: 1st item: Lid slightly warped. Small losses to veneer edges on front. 2nd item: 1/2" loss on lid and small chip on right corner.
