Grouping of three (3) carved and painted duck decoys including: one (1) miniature bufflehead drake decoy incised N. S. for Norman Scott (Back Bay, VA); one (1) drake red-breasted merganser with label on the base reading "Male merganser from Long Island, NY; one (1) red-billed duck with incised initials to the base reading J K. Ranging in size from 6 1/2" H x 9" L to 6 1/2" H x 16 1/4" L. Norman Scott decoy is circa 1950s-1960s. The remaining decoys are 1st half 20th century.
PROVENANCE: Private Knoxville, Tennessee collection.
CONDITION: Norman Scott decoy with scattered wear and rubbing to paint. Earlier decoys with weathered patina including losses and fading to paint and wood shrinkage and losses to joints.
