Joseph Sherly Sheppard (Maryland, b. 1930) oil on board painting of a nude male who reclines on a bed as he looks out an open window with head in hand. A mirror reflects a woman''s face and bare shoulders as she stands behind a dressing screen at right. Signed and dated "Sheppard 88," lower right. Housed in a black and gilt-decorated frame. Sight: 19 1/2" H x 23 1/2" W. Framed: 31 1/2" H x 37 1/2" W.
CONDITION: Overall very good condition. Will minor frame abrasion, especially to right edge. Not examined outside of frame.
