Signed lower right, with gilt fillet, linen mat, and rococo style gilt frame. Sight: 11 3/4" H x 6 5/8" W. Framed: 19" H x 16" W. 2nd item: Thomas Cornell (Maine, 1937-2012) bust-length portrait etching of the Italian Renaissance artist Michelangelo shown in three-quarters profile. Pencil signed "Cornell" and editioned 59/100, lower margin. Titled "Michelangelo 2" and numbered 60 in pencil en verso. Unframed. Housed in a window mat with French line. Sheet: 25 3/4" H x 19 3/4" W. Mat: 28 1/4" H x 22 1/2" W. 3rd item: Pencil drawing, likely a study for a larger work, depicting various circus clowns and elephants, unsigned and housed in a modern painted wood frame. Sight: 7 1/2" H x 9 7/8" W. Framed: 14" H x 15 3/4" W. Note: The subject matter is reminiscent of numerous circus scenes by Anthony Thieme in the 1940s.

CONDITION: 1st item: Drawing not examined out of the frame. Light overall toning to paper, otherwise overall very good condition. Frame with minor wear, primarily to front frame corners. 2nd item: Etching hinge mounted to window mat with archival tape. Upper left corner is detached but present, affixed to mat. Sheet is light struck within window mat. Upper corners with old adhesive en verso. Negligible foxing to lower third. 3rd item: Circus drawing in very good condition with light toning.
