Alfred Heber Hutty (Charleston, South Carolina, 1877-1954), drypoint etching, "A Southern Villa, No. 1," view of a Carolina cabin with woman standing in the doorway, with children, a pig, and man standing beside a wagon frame in the yard. Signed "Alfred Hutty" lower right and "First Impression" lower left margin. Circa 1948, edition of 75. Note: other copies of this rare etching are the collections of the Gibbes Museum and the Morris Museum of Art. Ivory mat and stained wood frame. Carolina Galleries label en verso.
