Chinese bronze dragon decorated censer, having a pierced cover with hardstone “pearl” finial, pursued by figural dragons, with raised Chinese symbols; two figural dragon tongue handles, and four paw feet. Raised seal mark to underside. Chinese, 20th century. 7 1/2 in. H x 9 in. W (at handles) x 8 in. D. Together with a rectangular hardstone base with decorative openwork carved sides. Base 3 in. H x 10 3/8 in. W x 8 in. D.
PROVENANCE: Private Chattanooga area collection.
CONDITION: Possible small repair to neck of censer; scattered dings and wear. Base with minor wear.
