Large Tennessee or North Carolina retailed coin silver punch or soup ladle, marked JOHN CAMPBELL in rectangle (working Fayetteville, NC, 1818-1836, and Nashville, TN, active 1836-1855), with pseudohallmarks attributed to Forbes of New York. Features an rounded fiddle handle with scallop shell decoration which repeats on the back of the oval bowl. 13 in. L, 5.64 oz troy.

CONDITION: Possible monogram removal. Otherwise excellent condition.
