British School landscape, oil on canvas, scene of two fishermen at riverbank with structure in trees at left. Winsor and Newton London stamp en verso of canvas with inscription en verso of frame: " … North of the River 13 / Viscountess Doneraile". Housed in a carved foliate gilt wood frame with carved corner elements. Companion painting to lot 84, same frame style, likely same artist. Sight – 16-3/4" H x 32-1/2" W. Framed – 24-1/2" H x 40-5/8" W. Late 19th century. Note: Viscount Doneraile is an Irish title used by the St. Leger family. Provenance: Nashville, TN estate. CONDITION: 1/4 inch chip lower right corner. Alligatoring to canvas left and right lower quadrants. Minor stretcher creases.
