Winsor and Newton London stamp en verso of canvas with inscription en verso of frame: " … on the River 10 / Viscountess Doneraile ". Housed in a carved foliate gilt wood frame with carved corner elements. Companion painting to lot 85, same frame style, likely same artist. Sight – 16-1/2" H x 32-1/2" W. Framed – 24-1/2" H x 40-5/8" W. Late 19th century. Note: Viscount Doneraile is an Irish title used by the St. Leger family. Provenance: Nashville, TN estate. CONDITION: Minor stretcher creases. Repair to frame, lower right corner.
