Sterling Boyd Strauser (Pennsylvania, 1907-1995) oil on board still life painting depicting a flower pot filled with daylilies against a brown background, rendered in a heavy impasto technique. Signed and dated "Strauser 88" lower left corner. Housed in a contemporary giltwood frame with a painted white liner. Sight: 7 3/4" H x 15 3/4" W. Framed: 13" H x 21" W.
PROVENANCE: Private Middle Tennessee Collection.
