David Wight (American/Washington, 20th-21st Century) "Champagne" art glass wave sculpture, rendered using copper leaf on hot glass resulting in a light blue hue with consistent bubbling throughout. Signed and dated on reverse side of foot "2/14/04" and "David Wight 2017". Housed on an illuminated base. 12" H x 11" W x 8 1/2" D. With base: 14" H. Note: Available with this lot is a cased DVD about the artist, his works, and technique, the inside of which contains a handwritten message from the artist to the consignor and is signed in the lower right corner. This lot additionally includes a book of pictures compiled by the artist's studio conveying his glass-making technique.
PROVENANCE: Collection of a Nashville Physician.
CONDITION: Overall good condition with no chips or cracks. Some minor scuff marks to underside. Illuminated base functioning at time of inspection.
