Three (3) landscape paintings.1st item: American school oil on canvas landscape depicting trees at the edge of a body of water, possibly a marsh, against a sunset sky. Housed in a molded gilt frame with rabbet edge. Sight – 11" H x 16" W. Framed – 17 1/4" H x 22" W. American, 19th century. 2nd item: Oil on board painting of a rural farmstead with woman feeding chickens near a road, cows and wagon in the distance. Housed in molded gilt frame with rabbet edge. Sight – 5" H x 7" W. Framed – 12 7/8" H x 14 7/8" W. Possibly English or European, late 19th to early 20th century. 3rd item: Oil on canvas, winter landscape with young boy and girl pulling a sled near a frozen pond with children playing in the distance. Housed in a molded gilt frame with rabbet edge. Sight – 8 1/2" H x 11 7/8" W. Framed – 13 1/4" H x 16" W. American or European, early 20th century. Provenance: Nashville, TN estate. CONDITION: 1st item: Yellowing to varnish layer. 2nd item: Light grime, overall good condition. 3rd item: 2 punctures, one with loss of paint to upper right quadrant measuring 1/4", the other lower right measuring 1/3". Overall varnish discoloration and scattered craquelure. Frames have scattered losses.
