Piedmont, North Carolina, salt-glazed stoneware pottery jug stamped J.M. YOW for John M. Yow (Randolph County, 1860-1906). Straight-sided form with a pulled handle applied to the side and shoulder. Stamped J.M. YOW ERECT NC on the upper shoulder to the right of the handle. 8" H. Circa 1894-1896.

CONDITION: Overall very good condition with some firing flaws and kiln marks noted to glaze.
