Three (3) rare pieces East Tennessee coin silver flatware marked for David Large Hope of Knoxville (working 1828-1869). Includes 1 rare Chatelaine with engine turned floral decoration and monogram SG, having incuse HOPE mark with Masonic emblem (2 3/4" L); 1 pastry server with foliate engraved blade, incuse HOPE mark with Masonic emblem, patent date 1855 and COIN en verso of handle with monogram MWS (9" L); and 1 long twist handle tongs marked with incuse HOPE, Masonic emblem and COIN, monogrammed on bridge (6 1/4" L). Combined weight 4.04 troy ounces.
PROVENANCE: Private Southern collection.
CONDITION: All items in very good condition with light wear.
