Lot 8: Japanese Meiji Bronze Iris Vase

Large Japanese Meiji bronze vase, lobed baluster form with flaring rim, iris relief decoration to the body, and a stylized lotus blossom base. 27 in. H x 16 1/4 in. dia. Late 19th/Early 20th century.

PROVENANCE: The collection of Mr. and Mrs. David Allen, Springfield, Tennessee.

CONDITION: One leaf with an old break to the tip and separation at the seam where two lotus leaves join at the base. Minor dent to one tip of the lotus base.
