Piedmont, North Carolina, salt-glazed stoneware pottery jug stamped A.L. MOODY for Alfred L. Moody (Moore County, 1860-1924). Straight-sided form with a pulled handle applied to the side of the neck and the upper shoulder. Stamped A.L. MOODY slightly to the left and under the handle terminus. 9" H. Late 19th/Early 20th century.
CONDITION: Overall very good condition with a small, shallow flake to rim edge.
