Two (2) Piedmont, North Carolina, salt-glazed stoneware pottery jugs. 1st item: Cylindrical form jug stamped W.RENNBRO for William Henry Wrenn (Randolph County, 1862-1929). Pulled handle applied to the upper shoulder and neck, stamped WRENNBRO under the handle, with an additional stamp on the handle terminus. 12 3/4" H. 2nd item: Ovoid form jug stamped W.T. MACON for William Tom Macon (Randolph County, 1863-1930). Pulled handle applied to the upper shoulder and neck, stamped W.T. MACON below the handle to the left. 10" H. Late 19th/Early 20th century.
CONDITION: 1st item: Very good condition with shallow chips on the rim. 2nd Item: Spider hairline crack running from the base to the shoulder.
