Two (2) Helen St. Clair (American, 1931-2022) oil on board impressionist paintings including one street scene titled "A Roman Byway" depicting figures walking along a city street, and another seascape titled "Downeast Harbour" depicting small boats docked at a marina with buildings visible in the background. Both paintings are signed lower left and additionally signed and titled en verso. Both are housed in matching molded gilt leaf and painted wood frames. Sight: 11 1/2" H x 8 1/2" W, Framed: 17 1/2" H x 14 1/2" W and Sight: 8 1/2" H x 11 1/2" W, Framed:14 3/4" H x 17 1/2" W.
CONDITION: Both paintings are in very good condition. Gold leaf overlay is lifting and rubbed on the frame of the street scene painting.
